MDS 3.0 is Coming
CMS
has communicated that the MDS 3.0 specifications will be finalized
approximately March 1, 2009, with draft specifications coming
approximately October 31, 2008.
The upcoming MDS 3.0 regulatory requirement is one of the
most significant changes that our industry will ever experience.
You can be assured that ALL MDI Achieve clients will have
an available solution with this change by the October 1, 2009
implementation date. No matter which MDI Achieve product you
use, you will have the full support of all MDI Achieve employees.
Development planning is already occurring to ensure MDS 3.0
functionality is available for all our customers who use Matrix,
On-line Advantage, PathLinks, QuickCare, ULTRACare,
GENECARE, and DataCare. Several MDI Achieve employees have
been involved in MDS 3.0 discussions with CMS in order to
ensure that this transition is as smooth as possible.
Please
note that MDI Achieve understands the impact of this change
to all our customers and how it affects your overall business
processes. Thank you for your continued support of MDI Achieve
products. If you have any questions about this change, please
feel free to contact any MDI Achieve representative.

this update has been installed, simply follow the instructions

2009 ICD-9 Codes in your system, you can download the new codes
manually by logging on to https://support.monetteinc.com/updates.
The ICD92009V1Short.csv file is located in the 2009 ICD9 Codes
