MDI’s On-Line Advantage Accounts Receivable program was developed to meet the specific requirements of the Long-Term Care industry. Its unique features allow it to be used across the spectrum of Long-Term Care formats and settings.

Accounts Receivable effectively handles the full range of Long-Term Care billing transactions and operations. Private, Medicare, Medicaid, DMH, Veterans Administration and Managed Care are just a few of the pay types that can be billed through the Accounts Receivable program. Detailed reports are available to help management personnel make effective and efficient decisions.

Complete Integration

On-Line Advantage Accounts Receivable is completely integrated with our Medical Records and QuickAdmit / Marketing software. This allows for single data-entry which saves valuable time for your staff and helps ensure accurate data input.

PPS Compliant and Electronic Submission of Claims

On-Line Advantage software is completely PPS compliant. Input from the MDS in Medical Records is automatically imported into the Accounts Receivable program and onto the UB92. On-Line Advantage also allows you to electronically submit Medicare and Medicaid claims in the HIPAA-mandated X12 format.

Month End Processiong Sub-Menu

Accounts Receivable includes an on-line month-end processing checklist to monitor the end-of-month process and create audit trails for reference while the end-of-period functions are being performed. Each function appears on the checklist, along with an indicator to show whether it has been completed.

Collections Made Easy

The Collections feature allows the user to drill down on specific balances due, track comments from collection calls and generate personalized collection letters and labels. Designed for use after month-end closing, this system is date sensitive based on Posting Period.

Resident Trust Fund Accounting

On-Line Advantage includes Resident Trust Fund accounting with our Accounts Receivable software at no extra charge, unlike other Long-Term Care software packages. The Resident Trust Fund program features both Interest Allocation and Resident Trust Fund reports.
