ULTRACare Training

The more proficient that you become with the ULTRACare solution, the greater contribution you can make to your company's overall success. To help you realize a high level of success, MDI offers a variety of convenient training formats including instructor-led Free Classroom Training or Real-Time Learning.

How do you get started? Choose the option that works best for you:

Classroom Training is best suited to newer users of ULTRACare who need a solid overview of the software. These are instructor-led, hands-on classroom style classes where you can receive personal interaction with our staff and other users to share best practices in a professional atmosphere. Each student is assigned to a computer fully prepared with the latest version of ULTRACare. There is no charge for these classes if you have a current SPSA, other than your own travel expenses. Real-Time Learning
is ideal if you need instruction on a smaller, focused area of ULTRACare such as month-end reconciliation or using eMARs and eTARs. You'll get a real-time connection to an instructor through a telephone and web-connect session to your computer at your desk - all without traveling. These sessions do need to be pre-arranged and there is a cost associated. Click here to contact our training staff for more information or to schedule a session.


Free ULTRACare Training


Perfect for new staff or those who have "inherited" knowledge from others, but never had ULTRACare product training directly from our staff. All clients with a current SPSA support contract are eligible to send up to 3 people to any class. There is no charge for the class, just your own travel expenses.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and space is limited. A cancellation fee of $100 per person per class applies if you cancel less than 10 working days prior to the start of any class. Registrations ARE transferable. Deadline to register is August 29.

  • September 9 - MDS Assessments and related features
  • September 10 - Care Planning, Phyisican Orders and Focus Assessments
  • September 11 - Advanced Clinical features

Admissions, Business Office/Billing modules focus:

  • September 9 - Admissions & Resident Information
  • September 10 - Accounts Receivable & Billing
  • September 11 - AR Month End, Collections, Reconciliation and Resident Funds

Times: The Education Center opens at 8:30am and classes begin at 9am sharp. Classes usually conclude by 4:30pm.

Lunch: Attendees are responsible for their own lunch.
